Notes
'Handel' rose (Rosa 'Handel') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant red blend flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms. McGredy introduced it in 1965.
Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, General Sikorski clematis, and Lavender.
