Notes

'Happy Days' peony (Paeonia 'Happy Days') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Pink flowers edged in red open in early to late spring above copper foliage. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it, and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue flag, Greig's tulip, and Christmas fern.
