Notes
'Harlequin's Silver' small coastal germander (Teucrium 'Harlequin's Silver') is a groundcover for rock gardens, retaining walls, mass plantings, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun. Its evergreen, silvery foliage forms mats 4 to 8 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Tiny purple flowers appear in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn, and they attract hummingbirds and bees. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Buffalo grass, and Evelyn rose.
