Notes

'Prostratum' wall germander (Teucrium chamaedrys 'Prostratum') is a shrub for ground cover, rock gardens, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. Rosy lavender to pinkish purple flowers open in spring and summer and attract butterflies and bees. The evergreen leaves are fragrant. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Rock rose, Little bluestem, and Blue sage.
