Notes

'Harry King' peony (Paeonia 'Harry King') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The shrimp-colored single blooms have notched petals and deeper peach center flares in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Obedient plant, Grape hyacinth, and Big bluestem.
