Notes

'Harvest' peony (Paeonia 'Harvest') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its frilled, deep yellow blooms have rose-pink edges and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the bronzy foliage adds color.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Balloon flower, and Mock orange.
