Notes
'Heavenly Whisper' peony (Paeonia 'Heavenly Whisper') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and its single, cupped, shell-pink blooms reach 6 inches wide on upright stems. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Queen of Night tulip, and Switchgrass.
