Notes

Hedgehog lily (Massonia amoena) is a bulb for containers, houseplants, and succulent collections. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun and dry soil. Two blue-green leaves with dark raised bumps hug the ground. Fragrant white flowers open in early to mid autumn and again in early to late winter. Plant the bulb with its top just below the soil surface.

Pairs well with Ornamental onion, Autumn moor grass, and Lemon Coral sedum.
