Notes

Hedgehog lily (Massonia jasminiflora) is a bulb for containers, houseplants, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun and dry soil. Its flat leaves hug the ground, and sweetly scented white flowers with black stamens sit on top. The leaves and flowers grow in fall, winter, and spring, and the bulb goes dormant in summer. Plant the bulb with its top just below the soil surface.

Pairs well with Ornamental onion, Thrift, and Autumn moor grass.
