Notes

'Helter Skelter' peony (Paeonia 'Helter Skelter') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers open in early to late spring and have light purple petals with dark flares. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Blue fescue, and Jackmanii clematis.
