Notes

'Henry Avery' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Henry Avery') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double, light pink flowers have a collar of shorter creamy petals tinted yellow at the base. They open in late spring and are mildly fragrant. Good stems and foliage make it handsome in the garden.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Tiger lily, and Switchgrass.
