Notes

'Henryi' clematis (Clematis 'Henryi') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Creamy white flowers with brownish anthers open in spring, summer, and autumn, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Isaac Anderson-Henry bred it from Lanuginosa and Fortunei. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Obsidian coral bells, and David garden phlox.
