Notes

'Hermann Krupke' peony (Paeonia 'Hermann Krupke') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its single, cupped, blush pink blooms have ruffled edges and open in early to late spring. Stephan Tetzlaff bred it as a sport of 'Anna Marie'. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Jackmanii clematis, Black Parrot tulip, and Ostrich fern.
