Notes
'Hewitt' meadow rue (Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Small, double, lilac pink pompoms open in airy sprays from early to late summer. They float above blue green foliage and attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Spiderwort, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
