Notes

Meadow rue (Thalictrum rochebruneanum) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is one of the hardiest meadow rues, and it does best with even moisture. Purple flowers attract bees in summer.

Pairs well with White mugwort, The President clematis, and Drumstick onion.
