Notes

'Album' meadow rue (Thalictrum delavayi 'Album') is a tall perennial with white flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. White buds hang like raindrops in summer and open into wing-like petals above yellowish stamens. Bees visit the flowers. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plant it in the middle or back of the border, where the columbine-like leaves add soft texture.

Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Marsh mallow, and Orange lily.
