Notes
'High Fashion' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'High Fashion') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The huge pink flowers open in early to mid summer and have a high lilac pink crown with no stamens. Strong stems hold the soft, fluffy blooms above good green foliage. Jesse Nicholls bred it.
Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Queen of Night tulip, and Western sword fern.
