Notes
'Hilde' tulip (Tulipa cretica 'Hilde') is a bulb for rock gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Pink flowers open in early to late spring. The petals are white with deep yellow bases and streaks of pink. This small botanical tulip will naturalize when happy, and it comes back year after year in good drainage.
Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Snowdrop, Japanese spirea, and Alexander Fleming peony.
