Notes

Himalaya fairy grass (Miscanthus nepalensis) is a grass for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 47 to 59 inches tall and spreads 35 to 47 inches, so give it room. Birds visit it, and it also tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Purple top, Scarlet dahlia, and Silver Shadow silverhair pineapplegrass.
