Notes

'His Grace' peony (Paeonia 'His Grace') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The upright bush grows about 26 inches tall and bears single red flowers that attract bees and butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Picture tulip.
