Notes

'Holiday' peony (Paeonia 'Holiday') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Full double blooms open cream with rosy tints in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. The heavy blooms may need staking. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Gentian, and Nelly Moser clematis.
