Notes

'Honshu Dawn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Honshu Dawn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep pink blooms reach 6 inches wide in mid to late spring. Each flower has two rows of guard petals around narrow, crisp centers. C. Allen Harper bred it.

Pairs well with Little Beauty tulip, Sedge, Ostrich fern, and African Queen lily.
