Notes

'Hopi' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Hopi') is a shrub for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to pass it by. Pink flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the leaves show fall color.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Switchgrass, and Blue wild indigo.
