Notes

'Muskogee' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Muskogee') is a shrub for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and forms a dense shape. Lavender-pink flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, Blue star, and Dense blazing star.
