'Dynamite' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Dynamite') is a tree for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It grows well in acid or neutral soil and tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Agapanthus, and Fountain grass.
