Notes

'Hopleys' oregano (Origanum laevigatum 'Hopleys') is an herb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Purplish-pink flowers appear from early to late summer and attract butterflies. The plant tolerates drought, so it suits dry spots.

Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Six Hills Giant nepeta, and Helene Von Stein lamb’s ear.
