Notes

'Hot Raspberry' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Hot Raspberry') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems grow fast and bring fragrant blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Gaura, and Ornamental onion.
