Notes

'Ida' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ida') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink blooms with rose-pink centers and light yellow stripes open in mid spring. The flowers are fragrant, and the upright shrub gives you stems to cut for the vase.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Ostrich fern.
