Notes

'Idelette' peony (Paeonia 'Idelette') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, medium pink flowers have yellow filaments and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Nodding onion, and Limelight hydrangea.
