Notes

'Imperial Divinity' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Imperial Divinity') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep rose pink blooms with yellow centers open late in spring and into early summer. The Japanese type flowers sit on strong stems above dark green foliage. Walter Marx bred it.

Pairs well with Sedge, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
