Notes

'Imperial Fuchsia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Imperial Fuchsia') is a perennial for borders, cut flower use, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single deep fuchsia to purple flowers open in early to late spring. Side buds extend the flowering period. The upright stems stand without support, and the leaves stay green and healthy into autumn.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Sedge, Blue sage, and Indian grass.
