Notes

Indian tree spurge (Euphorbia tirucalli) is a tree for specimen plantings, containers, and hedges. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense form and tolerates drought. Yellow flowers appear in spring and summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Spanish bayonet, Cape leadwort, and Peter Pan agapanthus.
