Notes

'Indigo Spires' salvia (Salvia 'Indigo Spires') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Drought tolerance and salt tolerance make it an easy choice for tough spots.

Pairs well with Lucifer montbretia, David Howard dahlia, Purple top, and Prairie dropseed.
