Notes

'Inoveris' caryopteris (Caryopteris clandonensis 'Inoveris') is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Deep blue flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Feather reed grass, and Stonecrop.
