Notes
'Inspiration' peony (Paeonia 'Inspiration') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, rose-scarlet flowers are double, waved, and ruffled, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. D. Steve Varner bred it.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Limelight hydrangea, Sedge, and Little Beauty tulip.
