Notes

'Iroka' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Iroka') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It has large, Japanese type flowers with yellow staminodes that look like enlarged stamens. The plant stays medium size and compact. Millet & Son bred it.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Woolly yarrow, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
