Notes

'Irokez' peony (Paeonia 'Irokez') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each strong stem holds one fragrant, deep pink anemone bloom up to 7 inches across. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Carlton daffodil, and Polish Spirit clematis.
