Notes
'Isadora' peony (Paeonia 'Isadora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its fragrant yellow flowers have dark red flares and red shading, and they open from early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the sturdy stems hold them well.
Pairs well with Hyssop, Lily, and Nelly Moser clematis.
