Notes

'Ivory Brooch' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ivory Brooch') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, ivory white blooms have tightly incurved outer petals over a closely packed center. Each flower looks like a curved brooch and always has a bud-like appearance. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Lanceleaf coreopsis, Obedient plant, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Ostrich fern.
