Notes

'Ivory Halo' red-barked dogwood (Cornus alba 'Ivory Halo') is a shrub for borders, hedges, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate into an arching shape that reaches about 47 to 71 inches tall and wide. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees, butterflies, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Midwinter Fire common dogwood, Astilbe, Sedge, and Switchgrass.
