Notes

'Ivory Inspiration' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ivory Inspiration') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant ivory blooms are single, with cupped guard petals and bright red stigmas. Each stem carries 2 to 3 buds, and the plants reach about 26 inches tall. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Sensitive fern, and Orange lily.
