Notes

'Ivory Jewell' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ivory Jewell') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The fragrant white flowers have a golden-yellow center and open in early summer. Strong stems hold the blooms up, and the dark, lush leaves look good all season.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Pincushion flower, and Spanish bluebell.
