Notes

'Ivory Treasure' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ivory Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers have golden-yellow centers and a sweet fragrance. Strong stems hold the blooms about 28 to 30 inches high above deep green leaves. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it blooms in early summer.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Pincushion flower, Japanese spirea, and Sensitive fern.
