Notes

'Jacks Point' peony (Paeonia 'Jacks Point') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The light purple blooms over cream appear in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Lily, and Burnet.
