Notes

'Jasmine' peony (Paeonia 'Jasmine') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Light pink and deep pink flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Nelly Moser clematis, Lily, and Ox-eye daisy.
