Garden uses

Notes

'Jeannine' reticulated iris (Iris reticulata 'Jeannine') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The sweet scented flowers open in early to late spring and are methyl violet with an orange blotch striped violet. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Japanese forest grass, and Foam flower.
