'Jie' clematis (Clematis 'Jie') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It blooms on old and new wood from spring to early fall, with fuchsia or magenta flowers and light pink anthers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2016.
Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Little bluestem, Jane magnolia, and Pink Impression tulip.
