Notes

'Jim' peony (Paeonia 'Jim') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, near white blooms show their stamens and smell sweet. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Little bluestem, Queen of Night tulip, and Pyrethrum.
