Notes

'Jin Wu {Sunbird}' peony (Paeonia 'Jin Wu {Sunbird}') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The fragrant, semi-double flowers open orange, fade to yellow, and carry red flares. Long stems hold the blooms well above the sparse upper foliage.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Nodding onion, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
