Notes

'Jingle Bells' peony (Paeonia 'Jingle Bells') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The tan yellow blooms have pink shading and open in early to late spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Lungwort, and Bells of Ireland.
